Repeat Over and over you return to your breath, to your body, heart and mind and give yourself intimate attention. In each moment, you again become present, this is the practice.

These simple, yet not easy practices are the basis of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Learning in a group, you settle into your body more easily, and you're less likely to fidget or get up because you've made a commitment to be there with whatever comes up. Amy is a skilled facilitator that supports your commitment to the practice.

Mindfulness is a way of being present in each moment. It is a basic quality of awareness that is cultivated by learning to pay wise attention to whatever is happening in our lives. Mindfulness training helps you learn purposeful trained attention to bring greater focus on what's most meaningful and decrease negative thoughts in our mind.

This 8-week class combines meditation, dialogue, inquiry, and mindful movement to assist you to work more effectively with stress, pain, and illness, as well as the challenges of living in the 21st century.

Learn to cultivate your natural capacity to actively engage in caring for yourself. Learn to pay attention to your moment to moment experience with acceptance and tenderness. Find greater balance, ease, and peace of mind. Are you ready?

Upcoming Offerings

Next class is open and accepting registration. Class begins Tuesday, April 9, 2019 and will meet weekly for 8 weeks, concluding on May 28, 2019. The class will meet in waiting room at Cascade Surgical Oncology from 6pm - 8pm. You are encouraged to sign up early, as this is a small class of 8 to 10 participants. Fee for the class is $250
